I’m proud to say we are a mercury free office. We converted our practice to using only amalgam and mercury free products over fifteen years ago.
When it’s necessary to remove old silver fillings we’re always concerned about our patients ingesting or inhaling the contaminants. That’s why we use the Isolite™ System.
The Isolite is a soft rubber appliance that fits snugly around the tooth or area being worked on. The vacuum component attached to it removes all air born or particulate debris. No one wants to swallow pieces of an old amalgam filling. Our patients love it.
For fillings, we use only the highest quality tooth colored restorations made by Den Mat® and the 3M Corporation®. These fillings are very strong. They are placed into the teeth and secured via a bonding agent. Next, a high penetrating LED light is used to cure and harden the material. The result is a healthy tooth colored restoration that will last for years. |
