In the movie I, Robot, Will Smith referred to a kid who wanted to become a dentist. He said, “What kind of 12-year-old wants to be a dentist?” Well, that was Dr. Ellsworth.
Dr. Ellsworth grew up in the small town of Snowflake in northern Arizona. Ever since 6th grade, he knew he wanted to be a dentist when he grew up. Now, he gets to live that dream. He has always enjoyed creating things and considers himself a science nerd. Dentistry has provided a way for him to use his love of science and creative ability to help heal sick people while creating beautiful smiles for others. The appreciation he receives after fixing a smile for someone has helped him recognize the great opportunity he has to practice dentistry.
Dr. Ellsworth received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University here in Arizona. In addition to his advanced dental education, Dr. Ellsworth also has many professional affiliations:
Professional Affiliations and Awards
- American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
- American Dental Association
- Arizona Dental Association
- Academy of General Dentistry
- Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society
- Salutatorian Midwestern College of Dental Medicine
Dr. Ellsworth learned to play golf as a child and still enjoys playing, even when it is 110 degrees outside. His faith and family are an essential part of his life. His wife, Sharae, who has worked at the office for several years, is truly the love of his life.
