The Beckham Dental New Patient Process
Our new patient process is meant to invite you to our dental family and help you maintain good oral health. You can have your new patient forms filled out and ready to turn in when you arrive. From there, you'll get a tour of our dental office and a chance to sit down with us to talk about what you want out of your treatment at Beckham Dental.
What to Expect with Routine Dental Cleanings and Dental Exams
Your appointment is generally divided into two parts.
Step #1 - One of our dental hygienists will take you for dental X-rays and give your teeth a thorough dental cleaning. As they clean your teeth, any area that doesn't look quite right is noted for your dentist. You may choose to have a fluoride treatment to protect your teeth from cavities.
Step #2 - Once your cleaning is complete, your Cave Creek, AZ dentist will take over.
We will do a dental exam your teeth for any trouble spots, paying close attention to any notes from the hygienist and any issues your X-rays may reveal.
We will also screen for oral cancer using VELscope technology.
